Muscle-Bone Crosstalk in Chronic Kidney Disease: The Potential Modulatory Effects of Exercise
نویسندگان
چکیده
Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a prevalent worldwide public burden that increasingly compromises overall health as the progresses. Two of most negatively affected tissues are bone and skeletal muscle, with CKD impacting their structure, function activity, impairing quality life these patients contributing to morbidity mortality. Whereas in this population has conventionally been associated mineral disorders, sarcopenia observed impact muscle CKD. Indeed, linked anatomically physiologically, together regulate functional metabolic mechanisms. With initial crosstalk between skeleton proposed explain formation through contraction, it now understood communication occurs interaction myokines osteokines, secretome playing pivotal role regulation activity. Regular exercise reported be beneficial health. Also, positive regulatory effect have on anatomical, functional, activity led proposal regular physical therapeutic strategy for bone-related disorders. The detection bone- muscle-derived cytokine secretion following strengthened idea cross organs. Hence, review presents an overview narrates how intrinsically communicate each other, focus potential modulation intercommunication.

Bone is Not Alone: the Effects of Skeletal Muscle Dysfunction in Chronic Kidney Disease.
Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is associated with a decline in muscle mass, strength, and function, collectively called "sarcopenia." Sarcopenia is associated with hospitalizations and mortality in CKD and is therefore important to understand and characterize. While the focus of skeletal health in CKD has traditionally focused on bone and mineral aberrations, it is now recognized that sarcopenia ...

The impact of pediatric chronic kidney disease (CKD) on acquisition of volumetric bone mineral density (BMD) and cortical dimensions is lacking. To address this issue, we obtained tibia quantitative computed tomography scans from 103 patients aged 5-21 years with CKD (26 on dialysis) at baseline and 12 months later. Gender, ethnicity, tibia length, and/or age-specific Z-scores were generated fo...

Metabolic bone disease is a common complication of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and is part of a broad spectrum of disorders of mineral metabolism that occur in this clinical setting and result in both skeletal and extraskeletal consequences. Detailed research in that past 4 decades has uncovered many of the mechanisms that are involved in the initiation and maintenance of the disturbances of b...
متن کاملthe effects of changing roughness on the flow structure in the bends
flow in natural river bends is a complex and turbulent phenomenon which affects the scour and sedimentations and causes an irregular bed topography on the bed. for the reason, the flow hydralics and the parameters which affect the flow to be studied and understand. in this study the effect of bed and wall roughness using the software fluent discussed in a sharp 90-degree flume bend with 40.3cm ...
